Hey buds!
So if you've been keeping up a bit over on socials you may have caught wind of this, but I'll summarize here. Between illness and dental surgery (as fun as you think it would be) video production has been at a standstill for about two weeks, so this means what had been a healthy production backlog is basically empty. In some ways it is like starting over. Not entirely as some of the assets and tools already exist, but the overall feeling of having no backlog is very disappointing to me.
I apologize to those of you who watch me for this sort of interruption, I need to develop a more resilient production plan, and that's some of what I Discuss below.
So, the main goal this week is to write and record everything ( ~ 4 videos) before flying out Friday. The general notes are all pulled together I just need to refine them. I have a decent laptop that should be able to manage the basic video edits we do while traveling but we'll see. I hope to resume releases by March 1st (Sunday).
The other goal during this rebuilding time is to establish a cadence in which we are
I'm finally getting back up to speed on things, so over the next week or two, we will be catching up on videos and improving the overall backlog to ensure we don't have similar issues in the future.
So what does this mean?
In the short term it means no releases for the next two weeks (unless I make more progress than expected, and then we will resume the usual schedule.
It means that videos may not release on Sunday exactly and that there will be a shift in day of release (however, this will NOT change the 1 week window for the patron early releases).
It also means I will be pausing the payments for March since that will be nearly a month of content that was not released.
It means that when videos return we will return with our new series (for all patrons starting at the 1 dollar tier) "Hat Chat". Where I will talk about the hats I wear in the videos and slowly go through my large collection.
Alright, so that is everything! I appreciate the support we've had, and (again) I'm sorry for the disruptions. Cannot wait to have more to share!
Bye, Buds!
